Other Ways to Give
Looking for more ways to support animal welfare in your community? There are plenty of impactful ways to help beyond a standard donation.
Planned Giving (Property & Stocks)
Donating appreciated stocks or property you’ve owned for over a year can be a win-win. You may enjoy tax benefits by reducing or eliminating capital gains while benefiting homeless animals with your caring gift. Contact your financial advisor for more information.
Workplace Giving
Does your employer provide charitable giving programs, such as matching gifts, employee giving funds, or volunteer grants for employees?
Numerous organizations may double your donation. Additionally, certain companies provide financial contributions for every hour you volunteer and often extend matching gifts to spouses and retirees. For further details, please consult your company's HR Department and inform Partners in Animal Care of your intentions.
Remembering Us in Your Will
This costs nothing now but secures the future of the animals in our community and supports Greenville County Animal Care. Leave a legacy by naming Partners in Animal Care in your will for a specific amount, a percentage, or any remaining portion of your estate. Adding a bequest can be as simple as updating your will. Consult your estate planner to structure a gift that suits you and your family. Also, please let us know so we can recognize your generosity.
Retirement Plans, Life Insurance & Annuities
Taxes on plans such as life insurance policies, commercial annuities, and retirement plans may be avoided or minimized through a planned charitable gift. Consult your financial adviser for more information and let us know if you have any questions.
Donate Supplies
We’re always in need of essentials to provide the best care for animals — from food and enrichment toys to cleaning supplies and bedding. You can drop off items at our shelter or donate directly through our online wish lists.
